GOP Senator Runs Out of Press Conference to Evade Trump/Russia Questions

A press conference meant for Senate Republicans to highlight religious liberty issues was interrupted by mainstream reporters who only wanted to discuss the latest Trump administration Russia scandals. When he saw the writing on the wall, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), decided he needed to remove himself from the situation. As the head of that committee, which is increasingly responsible for the investigation into said wrongdoings, he didn’t want to be on the record right now. So he found a hidden door behind the American flags lining the rear of the room, and he exited.

Was Sen. Grassley smart or cowardly?
