Venezuelan Foreign Minister: Trump's 'Racist and Supremacist' Speech Will Bring a 'Return to Cold War'

After President Trump delivered his first speech to the United Nations, the Venezuelan delegation slammed him. In his remarks, Trump said that it was not a faulty display of socialism that created the economic calamity in Venezuela, but a “faithful’ version of socialism. Indeed, that socialism has left people starving and crying out for new leadership. Venezuela’s Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza alleged that Trump’s words were “racist and supremacist,” and that his actions will lead to a “return to cold war.” He also laughably called the United States “the country that violates human rights all over the world.” Arreaza also gave Trump an inadvertent compliment, and compared his rhetoric to that of Ronald Reagan’s.
