While speaking to the press with French President Emmanuel Macron, President Trump opened the door to rejoining the Paris climate accord. The U.S. president had abandoned the deal, saying it wasn’t so much about climate change as impeding our interests and economy. But it seems like the Eiffel Tower-dining, parade-attending bromance that has developed between Macron and Trump has made him rethink these priorities. Later in the press conference, Trump corrected the record on saying France could never be an effective country again, especially on the fight against terrorism, by praising Macron. He said that, with him at the helm, France stands a major chance, and that he’d like to visit Paris more. Liberals everywhere are breathing a sigh of relief, but are you?
