The White House summoned all U.S. Senators to their Executive Office Building to brief them on the North Korean threat. CNN and other mainstream media outlets have been making light of the idea that they could have had the meeting on Capitol Hill but chose to have the meeting at the White House instead. Yesterday, Republican Senator Cory Gardner called it the ‘stupidest’ question, but of course Democrats feel differently. Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) bemoaned the lack of new information at the meeting, and said they should have had it at the Capitol. Of course Dems can’t allow themselves to be supportive of the President on anything, so even with something as serious as North Korea they do nothing but complain.
