Attorney General Jeff Sessions says he didn’t commit perjury because his meetings with the Russian ambassador weren’t related to the Trump campaign. And that seems to indeed be what Sen. Franken (D-MN) asked of Sessions during his confirmation hearing. Sessions responded, “I did not have communications with the Russians.” But he did have communication with the Russian ambassador twice last year.
