Even Van Jones Thinks Donald Trump Acted Presidential Last Night

When President Trump, as part of his joint session speech to Congress, acknowledged the widow of the Navy fighter who gave his life in Yemen, he roused the room into an incredibly long standing ovation from both sides of the aisle. And Van Jones says Trump was officially president before that moment, but that he became presidential in that moment. Jones even said, “That was one of the most extraordinary moments you have ever seen in American politics, period.” As a liberal commentator, Jones might even be running scared because he said, “That thing you just saw him do, if he finds a way to do that over and over again, he’s going to be there for eight years.”
