Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) accused the CEO of Wells Fargo of a scam (which he argues isn’t a scam at all). She says his bank cross-sold accounts, which means they sold customers on opening up multiple accounts with them. She grills him on how much he earned during this time, and why he was so proud of their cross-selling practices — and she wants him to pay his earnings back, resign, and possibly even face jail time. Is Warren doing something good? Or is she acting recklessly? Leave your comments below.
U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren to Wells Fargo CEO John #Stumpf: "You should resign. You should give back the money that you took while this scam was going on and you should be criminally investigated by both the Department of Justice and the Securities & Exchange Commission."
