Terror Suspect was Caught Asleep in a Bar Hallway

The suspect in the Chelsea terror bombing was caught asleep in a New Jersey bar’s hallway. Thinking he was a vagrant, the bar owner called 9-1-1, and police arrived on the scene. Once he awoke, the suspect shot at a police officer, who was protected by a bullet proof vest. He has now been apprehended, and is in custody.

Ahmad Rahami Found Sleeping in Bar Hallway, Linden Mayor Says

Linden, NJ Mayor Derek Amstead says Ahmad Rahami was found sleeping in the hallway of a bar by bar's owner and police called to the scene recognized him. "I just think he thought it may have been a vagrant or someone looking for a place to stay."
