Warren Buffett: 'When a Lady Says No, She Means Maybe'

When describing Kraft Heinz’s proposal to acquire Unilever, Warren Buffett used an inappropriate “old story” to describe their negotiation tactics. He said, “If a lady says no, she means maybe. If she says maybe, she means yes. And if she says yes, she’s no lady.” To say this is a bit offensive is a bit of an understatement.
