Meghan McCain Is The View's New Conservative

After Jedediah Bila left The View in September, there has been a void of conservative opinions on the show. But today, they announced that Meghan McCain would be her replacement.

After brown-nosing Whoopi Goldberg for a while, McCain expressed that the reason she agreed to do the show was that she wanted to be able to talk about her father, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), battling  cancer. She said that drawing attention to brain cancer is her new "purpose" in life. The other ladies seemed very supportive.

We'll see if she's an effective voice for right-wing ideals on the show, or whether it just winds up being an experiment in kowtowing to liberal bias.
