Even Fox News Thinks Shutting Down the Government Over Border Wall Would Be 'Foolishness'

Fox News' political editor, Chris Stirewalt, suggested that if the Trump administration holds off on approving the budget for the U.S. because he wants his border wall in the first 100 days, "it will be an incredible act of foolishness." He suggested that Trump wouldn't be able to get anything else passed through Congress if he did this. Stirewalt said, "This is all just symbolism. If they gag on this because they want to be able to say that within 100 days they put two bricks down on the wall or whatever else and they shut the government down, you can kiss all of 2017 goodbye for the rest of the priorities."
