The latest installment in James O’Keefe’s “American Pravda” series has CNN associate producer Jimmy Carr doubling down on comments that were caught on tape and aired last week. Carr, at this point, was apparently beginning to have suspicions about the Project Veritas journalists in whom he had been confiding.
“I mean, granted, anything I’ve said to you I would defend on the record,” he told the pair after the first video in the series dropped. “I don’t think I said anything wrong.”
In last week’s video Carr said, “we all [at CNN] recognize he [President Trump] is a clown, that he is hilariously unqualified for this, he’s really bad at this and that he does not have America’s best interests. We recognize he’s just f*cking crazy.”
He also insulted the American electorate, calling them “stupid as sh*t,” as well as Kellyanne Conway, whom he called an “awful woman” who “looks like she’s been hit with a shovel.”
An equal opportunity offender, Carr also threw shade on Chris Cuomo, one of CNN’s biggest stars, in the latest video.
“Just can’t stand that guy when he talks. We’re like, ‘shut up,'” Carr said, instantly making himself more relatable to Project Veritas’ viewers.
