“This is just mean-spirited,” said St. Louis resident Jeff Diggs after someone slashed his giant, inflatable Frosty the Snowman decoration. “It’s silly vandalism.”

It’s downright Grinch-like.

Diggs’ surveillance video shows a masked assailant viciously stabbing his snowman on Sunday night at 11:22 p.m.

“What could be sadder than watching Frosty slowly, slowly, ever-so-slowly deflate,” asked CNN’s Jeanne Moos sadly.

Frosty was patched back up “requiring extensive surgery,” however.

Diggs jokingly put up a GoFundMe page “to pay Frosty’s medical bills,” CNN reported. “The modest proceeds will actually go to charity.”

Diggs’ surveillance video was put up on the GoFundMe page with the soundtrack from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
