Women to Crazed Feminists: We Will Fight You to Defend Our Men

Fallout from the Brett Kavanaugh hearings and the now-debunked allegations of sexual assault by Christine Blasey Ford has expanded the divide not only between Republicans and Democrats, but among women -- the very group Democrats hoped to motivate for this year’s midterms.

As I’ve covered the hearings and the circus surrounding them, I’ve heard a constant refrain -- conservative women are furious about the false allegations leveled against Kavanaugh. They resent the feminist call to believe the woman and thereby assume the man’s guilt simply because he is a member of the male collective.

Feminists have made a mistake assuming that they speak for all women. They don’t.

Many of us are mothers. We have sons whom we love and would defend to our last drop of blood.

We have husbands, fathers, brothers, and male friends we hold in high esteem. Kavanaugh referenced these relationships during his testimony when he pleaded with the committee to consider how they would respond if this happened to a man they loved.

Women across the country applauded, identifying more with Kavanaugh than Ford’s tearless, detached performance laced with inconsistencies, contradictions, and uncorroborated evidence.

Nothing captures the sentiment of these women like a video called “Moms for Kavanaugh,” released by CatholicVote, a civic action committee.

Feminist activists say they speak for all women, but as the Trump election proved and as time continues to show, this is not the case. Conservative and libertarian women see the feminist movement for what it is -- a quest for power and expansion of the state over individuals. This goal divides intimate relationships, making isolated individuals ripe for picking by a totalitarian state.

Feminism today isn’t about women’s rights. It’s about removing rights from the individual. It’s about judging people as a group instead of treating every human being as a single entity based on particular, not universal, circumstances.

Right-thinking women see this and reject it. They want no part of it because they value their relationships with men. They value individual rights and freedoms. They also recognize and are grateful that they live in a country in which their rights are protected by law and where women flourish.

The feminist movement protesting politicians, vandalizing homes, and donning pink pussy hats is large and loud. But not all women join them. Many women are busy working jobs, caring for their families, having babies, raising children, and going about their lives in quiet harmony -- lives that are disrupted only by the agitations of crazed harpies blaring from the television as they push an agenda that has nothing to do with women’s rights.

The unequal treatment and abuse feminists claim are so pervasive in society bear no relation to the daily experiences of women who are more concerned about creating and nourishing than destroying. They seek to conserve the principles of liberty that make our nation great, not transform it into an ideological nightmare.

We don’t typically hear from these quiet caretakers of home and society, these women of excellence who use their freedom to serve others and to raise the next generation to respect America’s principles of hard work and liberty.

But the Kavanaugh debacle has stirred them to action.

They watched the hearings in horror, anger rising within. No longer will they let the feminist Left dictate to them how they should speak, act, or vote. They remain silent no longer.

Feminists see this as a great betrayal to the sisterhood. It’s not. The only ones who have betrayed the sisterhood are the current crop of feminists with their intersectional nonsense and Marxist-driven effort to keep groups in constant struggle instead of finding peace. They have betrayed other women with their false accusations against men, crying wolf and putting real victims at risk of never being believed.

They have betrayed women by disrupting the relationships that undergird a free society, driving women into the arms of the State. They have betrayed women by advancing the lie that women are just like men, thus robbing women of their femininity. The feminists of today act more like men than women, turning the feminist movement on its head and putting women in competition with men instead of complementary cooperation.

For their sons and their daughters, right-minded women are rising up. They’re “woke” to the feminist lies, and they’re saying enough. Because of how male guilt is used to silence men, they have lost the moral authority to challenge the feminist threat. But women can make that challenge, and they are doing it now as they see the danger, the insanity, and the cruelty of the feminist movement today.

In true catfight form, the feminists respond with fierce hostility to women who break from the ranks. They’ve brought down conservative women who have spoken out in the past by belittling them and characterizing them on comedy shows as stupid. When women voted for Trump, they defamed them, labeled them, accused them of being bound by their husband’s influence, refusing to refer to them as independent women.

In the past, this intimidation and defamation has worked, as women have feared the feminist backlash. No one wants to be disparaged or attacked. But feminists have gone too far, and they’re standing naked in the streets, exposed as frauds. Let them call us names. Let them denigrate their sisters who speak against them. Let them run hysterical in the streets. We don’t care -- because we know the truth. We’re not afraid, and we stand together -- with one another and with the men in our lives whom we love more than anything else in the world.
