Now Marianne Williamson Claims She Didn't Say What She Said About Conservatives
Last week I told you about Marianne Williamson, one of the only Democrats who's even remotely likable as a human being, complaining about the cruelty of the political left in America. In her own words: "What does it say that the conservatives are nicer to me?"
"What does it say that the conservatives are nicer to me?" @marwilliamson asks when she didn't know her mic was hot.

"I didn't think the left was as mean as the right. They are!"
This is absolutely, positively, 100% true. Lefties are awful, especially to women. No insult is too cruel. No lie is too insane. Anything goes. Then lefties project their own behavior onto their political opponents, and congratulate themselves for condemning it. They're lunatics. Whereas conservatives, who don't agree with Williamson's policies at all, are decent to her because she seems like an okay person. They're able to separate the person from the politics. Most of them are capable of that, anyway.
But Williamson wants the votes of the people who hate her because she's standing in the way of Sanders or Warren or one of those other kooks. So now Williamson is backpedalling. Paul Crookston, Washington Free Beacon:
Presidential candidate and spiritual guru Marianne Williamson was caught on a hot mic asking why conservatives treat her better than her fellow liberals do, but she claimed she was misquoted in a key part of it...
She claimed she meant that conservatives see her as "godless," not that she understands why they see the left in general as godless.
Re my hot mic moment Eric Bolling felt the need to put out (hardly conservatives being nice). People keep quoting me as saying I understood “why the Right say the Left is godless.” I said no such thing. I said I understand that they say that about ME.

So she's just like the rest of them. She accidentally told the truth, and now she's walking it back because it's politically inconvenient. She's terrified that her own tribe will cast her out for her heresy.
Marianne Williamson is never going to be president. She never would've earned my vote, but at least she earned my respect. Now that's gone too. All because she's afraid of alienating people who hate her anyway.
Politics ruins everything.
