Mike Pence to Speak at First-Ever Heritage Foundation Honors Gala
The Heritage Foundation will host its first-ever Honors Gala later this month, with Vice President Mike Pence as the keynote speaker and actor Dean Cain as master of ceremonies. The gala will crown the President's Club Meeting, October 20-23.
"The Heritage Foundation will host its first-ever black tie gala, the Heritage Honors, later this month. We’ve got something truly special planned: actor and show host Dean Cain will serve as the master of ceremonies and Vice President Mike Pence will deliver the keynote address," a Heritage spokesman told PJ Media. "This exciting event will be a celebration of our unique American identity and culture."
The gala will take place on Tuesday, October 22, at 6 p.m. at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C. It follows two days of speakers and break-out sessions on topics such as how capitalism fulfills the broken promises of socialism, why the "War on Poverty" failed, fixing the immigration system, the deep state, and civility in politics.
"You know, The Heritage Foundation is a flagship of freedom," Pence told the packed auditorium last month. "Since its founding in 1973, Heritage has been advancing conservative public policy based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, traditional values, and, from its very founding, focused on a strong national defense. And now for nearly half a century, it’s undeniable The Heritage Foundation has made a difference for America."
The Heritage Foundation has put together a stellar lineup of speakers, including Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Citizen and Immigration Services acting director Ken Cuccinelli, Customs and Border Protection acting commissioner Mark Morgan, former ICE acting director Tom Homan, journalist Mollie Hemingway, talk-show host Sebastian Gorka, and National Review Institute senior fellow Andrew McCarthy.
Attendance at the gala is by invitation only. To learn more about how to register to attend, call 1-800-546-2843 or email [email protected].
