Member of Polish Parliament Invites Ocasio-Cortez to Visit Real Concentration Camps
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is once again doing the thing that the Democrats running for president wish they could: effortlessly dominate the headlines for several news cycles.
Once again going very public with the fact that she never paid attention in history class, AOC infamously compared the border detention centers to concentration camps.
That ignited a public Twitter battle with Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and fired up the press to once more run interference and spin AOC's mind-numbing ignorance as something brilliant.
MSNBC's Chuck Todd dared wander away from the MSM hive mind and criticize the concentration camp comparison and was immediately excoriated by the liberal faithful. They're still complaining about it a day later:
On Thursday morning Dominik Tarczynski, who is a member of Parliament in Poland, invited AOC to visit my ancestral homeland and "study the concentration camps" so that she can learn how they differ from the detention centers.
Tarczynski also said that people in Poland become "agitated" when someone "cheapens the history" and tries to use it for "political point-scoring."
Here is his full invite as posted on Twitter:
I wrote back in March that AOC's ability to be an almost permanent media distraction could work in Trump's favor for 2020, even though she isn't a candidate. They need one or more of their candidates to dominate the headlines, not their freshman attention-seeker.
AOC kicked off this week by hitting a Sunday show and badmouthing Nancy Pelosi, and has had a stranglehold on the rest of the week by doubling down on her concentration camp nonsense. She's practically on headline-dominating autopilot now.
Nancy Pelosi is probably buying Tums in bulk these days.
