If Libs Will Lie About the Covington Catholic Kids, Who Won't They Lie About?
Ever since the 2016 presidential election broke the brain of every lib on earth, we've heard a lot about "foreign influence." The Russians, once dismissed as harmless has-beens by the Democrats -- "Governor Romney, the 1980s are calling to ask for their foreign policy back" -- are now the boogeymen underneath every bed and around every corner. Whenever the Dems embarrass themselves, you can bet that somebody somewhere is blaming it on "foreign influence."
And maybe they're right!
Twitter suspended an account on Monday afternoon that helped spread a controversial encounter between a Native American elder and a group of high school students wearing Make America Great Again hats.
The account claimed to belong to a California schoolteacher. Its profile photo was not of a schoolteacher, but of a blogger based in Brazil, CNN Business found. Twitter suspended the account soon after CNN Business asked about it.
The account, with the username @2020fight, was set up in December 2016 and appeared to be the tweets of a woman named Talia living in California.
The @2020fight account has been suspended, but the Internet Archive Wayback Machine still has archives. Here's what that account looked like on Jan. 3, and then Jan. 7:
One appears to be in Danish, and the other in Hebrew. I have no idea what that means. I'm just showing you what I found. See for yourself.
So, this whole Covington Catholic hoax was started by someone claiming to be an American, who may or may not really be an American. And our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters all fell for the hoax, because it confirmed their biases. They bought into a shallow lie and were easily manipulated because they wanted to believe it.
And now that they've embarrassed themselves, they have two possible courses of action. They can listen to their consciences and admit their mistake, which a few libs are doing.
There are two sides to every story. I made a snap judgment based on a photograph & I know better than to judge a book by its cover. I wasn’t there. I shouldn’t have commented. I’m glad there wasn’t violence. I hope theses two men can meet and find common ground as can WE ALL! pic.twitter.com/R20v9ot2Ey

Or, if the humiliation of being completely wrong is too much for them, libs can do the same thing they did to Brett Kavanaugh. They can dig up any scrap of evidence, no matter how tenuous, to justify their seething desire to destroy their enemy. That's what they're doing right now. They've dug in their heels, so now they have to be right, no matter how badly they embarrass themselves in the process.
And now Covington Catholic is shut down for security reasons. Terrific. Congratulations, Dems, you did it.
#YouMightBeALiberal if you've spent the past year screaming at anybody who dares to disagree with the Parkland kids, and now you're screaming at the Covington Catholic kids and anybody who dares to defend them.
"Trump is bad, therefore anybody wearing a MAGA hat is bad." That's all this is. That's the extent of the thinking. If it means ruining these kids or anybody else, for a lib that's a small price to pay to avoid the wrath of their own tribe.
I don't like Trump. I don't like those dumb hats. Ask any Trumpkin crybaby and they'll be glad to tell you what a traitor I am. (If they don't say: "Who?") But I'm also not blinded by rage. I don't think these kids need to be destroyed because they wore hats I don't like. I haven't gone insane.
Meanwhile, the "news" outlets that spread this garbage are furiously backpedaling. I was amused by this headline from CBS News: "Conflicting accounts sowed confusion about confrontation at Lincoln Memorial." No, the video evidence didn't sow confusion. Just the opposite. We saw the truth for ourselves and realized we'd been lied to. It's the least confusing thing there is. The only people who claim to be confused are the ones who are under the mistaken impression that they're the good guys.
The March for Life was a huge success, and the Dems can't stand it. If they can't stop the march from happening, they'll try to intimidate as many attendees as they can. See what's happening to these kids? Well then, maybe you should think twice before expressing an opinion that isn't approved by your betters.
If they'll do it to a bunch of high school kids, who's next? Me? You?
