Hillary Clinton Is Still Pretending She Won

Whether they're pro- or anti-Trump, whether they're #MAGA4Life or #OrangeManBad, most Republicans can agree on one thing: Hey, at least Hillary Clinton isn't president. No matter how bad you may think things are right now, at least it's not her.

She just assumed the office was somehow her birthright. She never dreamed she'd lose. And three years later, she still hasn't accepted it. She's still in denial. Fortunately for those of us who've watched this miserable harridan scowling at us for over a quarter-century, she keeps making a public spectacle of herself so we can laugh at her despair.

Like this:

Aris Folley, The Hill:

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spent nearly an hour leafing through some of her emails on display at an art exhibit in Italy...

More than 60,000 pages of emails were printed out and assembled in large stacks on a mock presidential resolute desk for the exhibit, which was held at the Venetian Teatro Italia in Venice. The exhibit, titled “HILLARY: The Hillary Clinton Emails,” was created by artist Kenneth Goldsmith...

Clinton told local media that [the] exhibition “is further proof that nothing wrong or controversial can be found on these emails,” HuffPost reported...

“They are just a bunch of boring emails.”

Everybody knows that breaking the law is okay if you're boring. Not that laws apply to Hillary Clinton anyway.

This sort of stunt appeals to the "BUT HER EMAILS" crowd. The ones who insist she actually won the election. The ones who demand the abolishment of the Electoral College, as if that'll magically put Hillary in office. That's the handful of people who are cheering her on today. To everybody else, this is utterly pathetic. She lost, it's over, but she just can't let it go.

I don't know art, but I know what I like. And I like watching Hillary Clinton make a fool of herself.

Is she just a spiteful shrew, or is it even sadder than that? Here's a theory that sounds plausible to me:

She's like Teddy Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace, who was convinced he was actually Teddy Roosevelt. Everybody played along because it was just easier that way. But eventually, they had him committed to a mental institution for his own good.

I hope Hillary's loved ones don't do that to her. I don't want her to go away to the funny farm. I want her to keep running around in public, humiliating herself for my amusement. I want her to serve as a constant reminder that things could always be worse.

I'm With Her (Downward Spiral)!

P.S. She'll never, ever be president, but at least she can still rack up those likes and RTs.
