Wut? Grandpa Joe Bungles Closing Statement: 'Go to Joe 30330'
Joe Biden's performance in Wednesday night's debate was, on many levels, lackluster. Attacked from all sides, he once again seemed mostly ill-equipped to handle the onslaught. But his performance also revealed that Creepy Joe is having a tough time holding his own against a crowded field of younger candidates. At times he stumbled trying to get words out. His confidence level at times seemed low. And there were two instances where he made some pretty bad mistakes in his closing statement. First, he said, "Eight more years of Donald Trump will change America in a fundamental way. The America we know will no longer exist."
Uhh, Joe. This election is for a four-year term, not an eight-year term.
At the very end of his statement, rather than point people to his website, he said, "If you agree with me, go to Joe 30330," while appearing to struggle to remember the number, or the fact that he really meant to say "Text 'Joe' to 30330."
Hey Joe, if you don't know what you're talking about, just point people to your website. It's your name, should be easy to remember. It's Joe Biden. Dot Com. In case you forgot.
Despite these flubs, former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm said: "His closing was sharp."
