Comedian Jim Carrey Attacks Sarah Huckabee Sanders

Once upon a time, Jim Carrey was funny. From his stint on In Living Color to his turns as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, the guy made people laugh. Somewhere along the way, though, Carrey lost his freaking mind.

Like so many other supposed entertainers in Hollywood, Carrey has developed a massive case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. However, his ire isn't reserved for just the president. Oh no. It extends to anyone in the Trump administration.

Recently, his target was White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and it was an ugly one.

You and I both know that such an intentionally unflattering picture of a woman would be met with scorn and ridicule if she were a progressive. But, because Sanders is a conservative, she's fair game. That's just how the Hollywood left likes to play.

To learn there is hypocrisy in Hollywood, however, isn't exactly earth-shattering news. We already knew that. We knew it when people who made their fortunes in movies with lots of guns came out for gun control. We knew it when the world learned that the oh-so-pro-woman Hollywood also had a history of protecting scumbags like Harvey Weinstein. We knew it from countless other examples.

But we can't really forget, either.
