AOC Is Not My Boss
Even the most eager proponents of the Green New Deal would have to admit that the rollout hasn't gone too smoothly. First Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, NY congresswoman and de facto leader of the Democratic Party, put out a hilarious GND FAQ (archived here). It has all sorts of crazy nonsense she proposes to accomplish within the next 10 years, like "retrofit every building in America" and "get rid of farting cows and airplanes." She's promising everything but free unicorns for everybody.
Then, when everybody laughed at this ridiculous fantasy, AOC claimed that the FAQ was just a rough draft that was published by accident. Three weeks later, we still haven't seen the final draft.
AOC, being the left's answer to Trump, is stung by this criticism from those of us who refuse to pretend her lies make sense. So now she's "clapping back" like the authoritarian she is.
"You try. You do it. Cuz you're not. Cuz you're not. So, until you do it, I'm the boss.' How about that?" - @AOC on her Green New Deal.

"So until you do it, I'm the boss. How 'bout dah?"
This wasn't just a slip of the tongue, either. She really does believe she runs your life because she got elected to Congress:
Yup. If you don’t like the #GreenNewDeal, then come up with your own ambitious, on-scale proposal to address the global climate crisis.
Until then, we’re in charge - and you’re just shouting from the cheap seats. https://t.co/h3KSJhHqDN

The freshman congresswoman from New York, one of 435 people in the House of Representatives, wants you to shut up because she has more power than you do. There's a word for that, and it ain't "America."
Unless you're one of this woman's unfortunate staffers, she isn't your boss. She's not in charge of you. Neither is any other elected official. (Not even the president. Sorry, Trumpkins.) Their job is to serve the people, not dictate to us. A couple hundred years ago, Americans fought and died to free ourselves from tyrants who thought like this.
AOC has heard "Yaaaas Queen!" so many times, now she thinks she is one. A year ago she was tending bar, and now she thinks she can 86 half the country.
You know your movement is in trouble when Dianne Freakin' Feinstein is the voice of reason:
This is a fight for our generation's survival. Her reaction is why young people desperately want new leadership in Congress. pic.twitter.com/0zAkaxruMI

In case you're wondering, those kids are exempt from criticism because they're not wearing MAGA hats.
AOC is supposed to be representing her district, but she doesn't seem to live there. She claims she's going to give everybody good jobs within the next 10 years, yet she just chased away 25,000 Amazon jobs. She's extremely generous with money she didn't earn, and she lashes out at anybody who has a problem with it. She presents herself as a breath of fresh air, but it's the same old Washington halitosis. She says humans are killing the planet, as she's chauffeured around in SUVs. She's just another politician, and eventually she'll disappoint even her most fervent worshippers.
And this is all coming from me, a cuck RINO traitor who probably wanted Hillary to win. If this is the best the Dems can do, I just don't see Trump losing in 2020. The left saw what happened last time, and the lesson they took away from it is that they're not obnoxious and alienating enough.
