Prof Who Bullied Trump-Voting Muslim Now Gets Richard Spencer Banned From Gym

Georgetown professor Christine Fair is a progressive, and if you cross paths with her, you will probably be made to know about it. Months ago, Fair heaped abuse, privately and publicly, on her Muslim colleague Asra Nomani for daring to vote for President Trump, and Nomani needed to take action with the administration to stop the harassment.

Fair’s latest stunt shows just how little patience she has for the First Amendment or the civil society. She noticed that the (admittedly detestable) activist Richard Spencer was exercising at the same gym as her, and she found his simple presence there to be “oppression”:

She wrote on Tumblr that she “exploited the full range of my first amendment [sic] entitlements” by cornering Spencer at Old Town Sport&Health, which is near Spencer’s think tank in Alexandria, Virginia:

First, I want to note that this man is a supreme coward. When I approached this flaccid, sorry excuse of a man and asked ‘Are you Richard Spencer,“ this pendulous poltroon said “No. I am not.” But of course he was. …

As a white woman, I find his membership at this gym to be unacceptable. I found his membership at this gym to be an unfair burden upon the women and people of color — and white male allies of the same. I also loudly identified him as a neo-Nazi who has said, inter alia, the below detailed things.

Fair writes how shocked she was when Spencer called over a gym employee to intervene when this tantrum-prone person cornered him, because the employee is African American. (She might be interested to know he also did a respectful interview with the comedian and CNN host W. Kamau Bell, who is black.)

Spencer’s said some pretty disgusting things. But, you know, you get to do that here. Speech is not a crime.

Harassment? Violating equal protection? Crimes.

And presuming that the employee was some sort of race traitor for defending a harassed customer? Sounds like Fair might actually fit right in at one of Spencer’s lectures.

Fair also added this to her online rant, which would get a non-Leftist professor fired before the day is out:

Also..f*** him again. With a giant strap-on and no lube.

Fair’s claim to be exercising her free speech rights is preposterous. She in fact believes that speech is only for her allies; that Spencer’s abhorrent positions mean he is unworthy of protection in a civil society. This is kindergarten stuff — Fair simply has no concept of right and wrong:

Fair had the temerity to complain that she had since been subject to online harassment after she physically harassed someone who was minding his own business.

Unfortunately, Fair’s behavior is part of an alarming trend in this country. Leftists continue to feel justified in singling out those they disagree with for treatment they would never tolerate. They pretend their righteousness is all the justification they need for such childish behavior.

They gleefully justified punching someone on the street — it happened to be Spencer.

We’ve seen masked Leftist activists beating people with deadly weapons at rallies. How many innocents will it take being caught in the crossfire before it stops?

Don’t expect sanity anytime soon — Old Town Sport & Health did indeed cancel Spencer’s membership.
