A scene in a new video by Snoop Dogg shows the rapper shooting a clown dressed as President Trump with a toy gun. The vile anti-police, anti-Trump video depicts a world inhabited by clowns — except of course for Snoop Dogg and his homies.

Snoop Dogg says, “This is the final call,” before pointing a gun to the head of a cigarette-puffing clown dressed as Trump. After pulling the trigger, a “bang” flag shoots out from the music star’s gun.
“The whole world is clownin’ around,” Snoop Dogg told Billboard in an interview about the video published Sunday, saying, “if you really look at some of these motherf–kers, they are clowns.”
The shooting segment starts at about 3:00. The entire video is just dumb, cliched, and uninspired nonsense that is frankly not worth your time.

“The ban that this motherf–ker tried to put up; him winning the presidency; police being able to kill motherf–kers and get away with it; people being in jail for weed for 20, 30 years and motherf–kers that’s not black on the streets making money off of it — but if you got color or ethnicity connected to your name, you’ve been wrongfully accused or locked up for it, and then you watching people not of color position themselves to get millions and billions off of it.”
“It’s a lot of clown sh-t going on,” he said, “that we could just sit and talk on the phone all day about, but it’s a few issues that we really wanted to lock into [for the video] like police, the president and just life in general.”
“When I be putting sh-t out, I don’t ever expect or look for a reaction,” Snoop Dogg continued. “I just put it out because I feel like it’s something that’s missing. Any time I drop something, I’m trying to fill in a void.”
“I feel like it’s a lot of people making cool records, having fun, partying, but nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this f–king clown as president, and the sh-t that we dealing with out here, so I wanted to take time out to push pause on a party record and make one of these records for the time being.”
Snoop Dogg’s approach to current events is misguided and ill-served, to say the least. If we’re going to talk about a “clown sh-t,” how about we talk about what’s currently going on during Spring Break on our nation’s southern beaches — especially in Miami, where drunken, debauched, disorderly and often violent crowds seem to get worse every year.
Year after year, reports of drunken fights in the streets and hostility toward the police officers fill the papers during “Black Beach Week.”
“At first, everything was starting to get under control but then I guess some people got too rowdy and started trying to fight police,” said one eyewitness over the weekend.
Last year, some of the rapper’s fellow travelers even yelled “f–k the police!” — just like Snoop Dogg in his video! — while throwing bottles and punches at law enforcement officers.
Yeah, there’s a lot of “clown sh-t” going on — but the police are the ones on the front lines, risking their lives to deal with it.
Violent crimes have spiked in recent years due to what is called the “Ferguson Effect,” defined as officers backing off proactive policing in inner-city neighborhoods. The result of this is emboldened criminals and more lives lost — especially in black communities.
Studies show that blacks are actually less likely to be shot and killed by police officers than whites are. What’s more, “a police officer is more than 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer,” according to Heather Mac Donald, a scholar at the Manhattan Institute,
And Snoop Dogg’s video comes to us after a particularly bad year for law enforcement officers.
A total of 140 law enforcement officers were killed in 2016 in line of duty deaths. The number of deaths increased by 10 over 2015’s 130 officers who were killed.
Death by gunfire was, once again, the leading cause of death for officers who were killed on duty. A total of 64 officers were killed by gunfire – up from 39 in 2015, according to statistics obtained by Breitbart Texas from the Officer Down Memorial Page (ODMP). This represents an increase of over 60 percent over the prior year.
“The 61 percent increase in law enforcement officers shot and killed in 2016 versus 2015 and a 53 percent overall increase in officers murdered in the performance of duty are deeply troubling statistics,” ODMP Director of Research Steven Weiss told Breitbart Texas. “Included in that statistic is a disturbing increase in officers killed in ‘ambush-style’ murders, such as the incidents in Dallas and Des Moines.”
“These types of murders are particularly disconcerting because they are not born out of a criminal’s desire to avoid arrest, but out of a hatred for not only law enforcement, but for our society as a whole,” Weiss explained. “It is the type of attack that, for the most part, tactical training or increased vigilance may not help to prevent.”
So far this year, there have been 25 law enforcement line-of-duty deaths, which is up 32 percent from last year, according to ODMP. Seven of those deaths are from gunfire, one from assault, and one from vehicular assault. Meanwhile, hostility toward Donald Trump has spilled over to hostility and violence toward many of his supporters, as PJ Media has been documenting for many months.
Videos like Snoop Dogg’s just increase hostility toward the police and Trump, exacerbating these problems.
