Partisan Shrew 'Washington Post' Cartoonist Portrays Cruz Children as Monkeys

This is a public portrayal of the children of a candidate of color, I might add. Not likely something that one would get away with were said candidate not an evil Republican. Cruz’s kids are 5 and 7, by the way. I’m so old I remember when there was a great outcry resulting in a job loss over private comments about a politician’s children. Ann Telnaes has justified her actions quite clearly, though:

Since Ms. Telnaes obviously has a firmly held conviction about this subject, one can only imagine the creative angst she’s suffered sitting on this since last summer:
