Steve Jobs just announced that Apple has discontinued the anemic 4GB iPhone – and that he’s cut the price on the 8GB model by one-third, down to $399. Which tells us two things:
1. They really were getting great margins those first two months.
2. Why I hadn’t bought one yet.
And one more thing — point 2 is about to become so outdated.
