Restrepo Director Killed in Libya

Oh, man. Tim Hetherington, director of the excellent Afghanistan war documentary Restrepo, was just killed on the front line in Misrata, Libya.

“In besieged Libyan city of Misrata,” he wrote on Twitter a day and a half earlier. “Indiscriminate shelling by Qaddafi forces. No sign of NATO.”

And then Qaddafi forces killed him.
