It’s August, so it’s safe to say the busy days of summer are shifting into the well-scheduled, less hectic days of school. At least, that’s the case in our house! I am spending a lot of time these days making freezer meals and easy, go-to snacks to save time (and keep me sane) in preparation for the school year. Here are some of my favorite go-to recipes and tips.

I whipped up a batch of these beauties for the freezer last night. It took me about 30 minutes from start to finish, and now I’m ready for a fast lunch. Just throw one or two into the oven for 15 minutes and you have a hot sandwich that is more satisfying (and more budget-friendly) than fast food:
