Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s longest and reportedly most loyal aide, announced on Monday that she would be separating from her husband, former Congressman Anthony Weiner, after his third sexting scandal broke this weekend.
“After long and painful consideration and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband,” Abedin said in a statement Monday, CNN reported. “Anthony and I remain devoted to doing what is best for our son, who is the light of our life. During this difficult time, I ask for respect for our privacy.”
Weiner torpedoed his political career five years ago with a sexting scandal. Abedin then decided to stay with her husband. A second round of allegations that he couldn’t keep it in his pants (i.e. had been sending explicit messages online) broke Sunday evening.

A brunette Donald Trump supporter (who also loves the NRA) told the New York Post that she exchanged racy photos with him over the course of a year, including a very disturbing image of Weiner’s crotch while his toddler son was also in the picture. The image is from July 31, 2015.
The woman reportedly responded in dismay at the photo. “Your do realize you can see you(r) Weiner in that pic??” the woman replied, according to the Post. The paper identified the woman as a 40-something divorcee from out West.
After resigning from Congress in 2011, Weiner made an unsuccessful attempt to re-penetrate the political scene, running in the primary for New York City mayor. New Yorkers reportedly didn’t like what they saw, amid his second sexting scandal in 2013.
