Night 3: Liveblogging the 2020 Democratic National Convention

@VodkaPundit -- I've wondered that myself. The DNC has made no attempt to differentiate between live and recorded content. For all we know, Biden's speech will be pre-recorded after dozens of takes.

Kamala Harris represents every wasted opportunity and lack of strategy the DNC has packed into its fight to extract Donald Trump. It only makes those saying they're trying to lose look more prescient.

Where was the attack dog we saw go after Biden last June? I thought that’s the person they hired to go after Trump?

It's over.

So we have that going for us.

Which is nice.

That done, what can we expect from tomorrow night? Will Biden actually speak live? And if not, how would anyone tell from this Zoom-Skype thing they've cobbled together?

To say Kamala Harris's speech was a letdown would be an insult to letdowns. Word salad. "You are pushing us." Yeah, so inspiring...

It seems odd these Democrats are running against the cancellation of school when Trump is the one fighting to reopen the schools. A headscratcher, that one.

I used to ride Amtrak. Should I put that on my resume and should you consider it when electing me president?

We live in serious times, with deeply unserious leaders. 

Kamala talking about Trump using tragedies to create political opportunities is some high entertainment after all of their overdramatization and lying about COVID and its impacts tonight. 

The Biden - Kamala ticket reminds me of a hypothetical Dole - Ferraro ticket. You can't imagine any of them as President. No It Factor, as VodkaPundit points out.

If I have to hear about Joe riding the Amtrack one more time I will scream. If I am supposed to believe she and Beau Biden got this personal as peer Attorney Generals I hope she has a bridge to sell me. 

Ok, I'll have to give it up to Kamala for one thing - she's finally addressing policy, as the ABC panel pointed out. But it's bad policy that doesn't win any voters.

Kamala Harris does know a bit about freedom. Word is she denied freedom to about 1,500 inmates past their sentences to keep them working as indentured servants for the state of California. 

So there's that. 

She's Obama. Same scold. Same lecture. Same hubris.

I don't even see a Vice President here, never mind a President.

I would like Kamala Harris to explain to me exactly which rights all adult American citizens are not granted. And where in the United States today people are not free. 

"Structural racism." DRINK!
