Fruity Cereal Flavors? Yeah, They're All The Same

My childhood is ruined. Well, not ruined, but I have to admit a little part of me is disappointed at the findings on fruit flavored cereals. The folks at Relevant broke the news:

The crushers of childhood dreams over at Foodbeast.com recently conducted a blind taste test to determine if consumers could distinguish the difference between the brightly-colored rings of sweet goodness found in Froot Loops (note: most likely for legal reasons, they can not be referred to as “fruit” loops), and found that each color was actually the same flavor. Not content on just ruining Froot Loops for generations to come, they also used the same methodology to discredit the disguising colors behind Trix and Fruity Pebbles.
