IF YOU LOVE A LOCAL RESTAURANT, GO AND GET TAKE OUT:  This is not a good time for us to spend money eating out, but you know? There are restaurants we’d like to preserve. And they’re hurting. Also, they’re not in isolation. Restaurant suppliers are hurting, as are other businesses that help with restaurants. As are all the businesses restaurant personnel patronize. So, if you can at all, throw them some take-out love.  Heck if the weather in your area is good and your governor/mayor isn’t completely insane (I hear such specimens exist!) get take out, take an old sheet and have a picnic in the park. Let the kids run around a bit. Chinese virus is not magical and doesn’t permeate the air. Sure, it can six feet in aerosol, but humans don’t breathe in aerosol. And we’ve pretty good indications that sunlight kills it, anyway.

If you’re in the Denver area, we recommend for your patronage:
Pete’s Kitchen and La Fogata #2, both moderately priced.

Reinhaus, a little pricier but their giant pretzels are to die for (yes, I know I shouldn’t have them. I very rarely do, but…)

And if you’re in the mood for something fancy give Mesquite Grill (they’re a little strange, but make great fish) and The Chocolate Lab a try.

Patronize the places you’d like to keep.
