BECAUSE I’M ASPLENIC, I’VE BEEN TOLD NOT TO LET DOGS OR CATS LICK ME: Wisconsin man has limbs amputated because of dog lick that led to rare blood infection. I never took it too seriously, since I had been asplenic for 50 years with plenty of dog and cat licks, before I was told this. Now I wonder.
