WANT TO LEAVE A LEGACY? PLANT A TREE: One of the first fruit trees planted in America is still alive and well at age 383. Hero of the Napoleonic Wars Cuthbert Collingwood planted oak trees all over his property so that Britain would be able to build wooden ships a century hence. They don’t do that any more, but many of the trees remain.
