Well, this is awkward. Back in the halcyon days of 1993, “Creepy Uncle Joe” Biden was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. That was the year, you will recall, that Ruth Bader Ginsburg was nominated to the Supreme Court by then-President Bill “All the Babes Are Mine” Clinton. On July 20, 1993, the day Ginsburg’s confirmation hearings began, there were smiles all around as Biden put the moves on Notorious RBG and whispered sweet nothings into her ear. It’s reminiscent of dozens of other images and video clips that have emerged in recent years of Biden getting cozy with the women — or in some cases little girls.

It’s impossible to know whether the smile on Ginsburg’s face is one of joy or absolute horror, but everyone in the room —  including Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, an outspoken #MeToo supporter who has called for sexual harassment training for all members of Congress — seemed fine with it. You can see Norton’s reaction in the wider shot here.

I think it’s fair to say that this pic of Biden with Ginsburg ought to be added to this Hall of Fame supercut of the former vice president getting handsy with women:
