It was a very telling moment during the New Hampshire debate when George Stephanopoulos asked all the candidates on stage if they were concerned about having a Democratic Socialist at the top of the Democratic ticket in November, and everyone appeared to hesitate to raise their hand.
That is, until Bernie Sanders raised his hand to say: “I’m not.”
Amy Klobuchar raised her hand after a few seconds, but quickly put it down.
STUNNING! Watch every leading Democrat hesitate to say they are concerned about having a Democratic Socialist at the top of the Democratic ticket. #DemDebate pic.twitter.com/LkSkuDrP4U

And why would they? As PJM’s managing editor Paula Bolyard noted on Twitter, “2020 Dems have sold their souls to the socialist wing of the party, refusing to lay a finger on Bernie. Stephanopoulos (a party man if there ever was one) is giving them every opportunity to disavow socialism and to a man (and woman) they’ve all taken a hard pass.”
