CNN Continues Its Attack on Sanders: 'He Has Had This Gender Problem Historically'
It took them a while -- initially, they just seemed to be rooting for every single Democrat running for president -- but CNN has finally taken sides. Their choice? Elizabeth Warren. In order to help her, the network has clearly decided to take down Bernie Sanders by portraying him as a terrible, horrible, no-good misogynist.
As PJ Media reported earlier Tuesday, it certainly looks like the CNN story claiming Sanders told Warren back in 2018 that "a woman can't win" the presidential race is nothing more or less than a smear job.
None of that prevents CNN from repeating the lie on air, however. See how one of CNN's contributors was caught telling her fellow reporter in a live show that, well, those who know Sanders (or something) would believe it because, let's face it, everybody knows he's a terrible woman-hater. Or something:
"I think the thing that really hurts Bernie Sanders about this is, you know, it does kinda seem like something you could see him saying because he has had this gender problem historically. And that's why, if voters do believe it, if it sits with voters, that's why it would sit with them, because they could already have had this belief that Bernie has a gender issue," CNN's female version of Humpty Dumpty said on air (video via Francis Chick Hearn).
The only problem? A new video has surfaced of Bernie saying back in 1988 that a woman could be elected president of the United States. "The real issue is whose side are you on? Are you on the side of workers and poor people or are you on the side of big money and the corporations?" he said back then.
So please, CNN, do explain what "gender problem" you're talking about here. If I didn't know any better, I'd almost think that the only ones with the "gender problem" are CNN "reporters" (haha!) who can't stop obsessing over it.
Of course, it is rather hilarious to see Democrats use their victim-card on one of their own (or is he? Many leading Democrats actually consider him an outsider, someone who isn't really one of them). Bernie is a misogynist dirtball, Pete Buttigieg (But-Edge-Edge) is a racist, Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian spook, Warren is owned by The Rich... Darn. For supposedly "compassionate" and morally superior folks, Democrats certainly do play it dirty, don't they?
