ActBlue Flooded with Requests for Refunds of Donations to Elizabeth Warren's Campaign After Bernie Smear
Unless you've been living under a rock, you know the Elizabeth Warren is perhaps one of the phoniest people in politics—and that's saying a lot. She spent years self-identifying as a Native American, only to discover that she's whiter than most white people after taking a DNA test. Warren was also recently caught in a lie for her repeated claims of being fired from her teaching job because she was pregnant, for misrepresenting her father's occupation, and her ability to afford college. There's virtually nothing genuine about her, yet she's been a contender for the 2020 Democratic nomination for some time.
Her most recent whopper is her claim that Bernie Sanders told her in a private conversation that he didn't think a woman could win the White House. People with knowledge of the conversation refute her account.
Her smear of Bernie Sanders appears to have finally woken Democrats up to her phoniness. In fact, it resulted in #RefundWarren trending on Twitter and liberal donors flooding to ActBlue to request refunds of their donations to her campaign.
Naturally, many were amused that it took so long for people to figure this out, and others haven't quite yet figured it out, but are claiming to be suddenly outraged
It will be interesting to see what happens during Tuesday night's debate.
