Despite canceling his press conference due to the Nice attacks in Paris on Thursday night, Donald Trump finalized his choice of running mate on Twitter Friday morning. He confirmed reports that he had chosen Indiana Governor Mike Pence.

Here’s the tweet.

I am pleased to announce that I have chosen Governor Mike Pence as my Vice Presidential running mate. News conference tomorrow at 11:00 A.M.

On Thursday, Roll Call reported that Trump had chosen Pence, but the campaign denied it, saying he had not yet made his decision. Then the Indy Star reported that Pence had decided not to seek re-election this November.

Trump confirmed the reports in his classic style, with a quick tweet.
