WATCH: Bernie Appears on SNL to Tell Off the Titanic's One Percent

Just a few days before the New Hampshire primary, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) met with his “Saturday Night Live” doppelgänger to prove they are indeed two different people.

Sanders appeared in a sketch with SNL host Larry David, in which David played a rich guy trying to get a seat on the lifeboat of a sinking ship.

Up walks Bernie Sanderswitzski.

“I am so sick of the 1-percent getting this preferential treatment. Enough is enough,” Sanders says. “We need to unite and work together if we’re all going to get through this.”

“Sounds like socialism to me,” David fires back.

“Democratic socialism,” Sanders stresses.

“What’s the difference?” David asks.

Yuge difference,” Sanders responds in Donald Trump tone.

David also did a parody on his HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm — this time, Bern Your Enthusiasm.

That skit featured Bernie having a very Larry David day on the day of the Iowa caucuses.
