NBC News Blows The Lid Off the Kermit Gosnell Trial
And by "blowing the lid off" this horrifying trial, I mean, one of the news readers on their payroll issued a Tweet.
Which featured a link to a story about it in the Philadelphia Inquirer. (Which itself is probably covering the story pretty grudgingly, because it's happening in the paper's backyard.) Because NBC is otherwise in full radio silence mode about an event that doesn't fit the narrative, as Twitchy notes:
Twitchy has extensively documented the media silence on the trial of baby murderer Kermit Gosnell. This morning, NBC News’ Russert found out just how deafening that silence is. He wanted to let his followers know about the “horrifying” testimony being given at the Gosnell trial. Good on him for that. Unfortunately, NBC couldn’t help him out. Russert had to link instead to the Philadelphia Inquirer — a local outlet:
Luke Russert tweets, "The trial of corrupt abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell has produced some horrifying testimony: http://articles.philly.com/2013-04-09/news/38376465_1_jack-mcmahon-west-philadelphia-kermit-gosnell …"
As Twitchy asks, "What does it say about your own network’s news reputation when you can’t even look to it for coverage?"
