SNL Just Made the Best Argument for Why We Need This One Gun Law
As a conservative Republican with libertarian leanings, most folks don't expect me to advocate for stricter gun laws. After all, I'm a gun owner, and stalwart defender of the 2nd Amendment that secures the individual right to self-protection and defense against tyrannical government.
But after watching this "public service announcement" [below] by the folks at Saturday Night Live, the former TV comedy show, I'm publicly coming out in favor of one, powerful, inarguably necessary new gun law.
Here it is...
No guns for liberals.
That's it. You doubt me? Just watch how the liberals in this SNL commercial handle firearms. No muzzle control. No trigger discipline. No checking to see if there's a round in the chamber.
Liberals can't be trusted with firearms. Period.
My law would prevent a liberal from ever buying, keeping or bearing arms. We should not permit a liberal to buy a gun from a federally licensed firearms dealer, nor from a gun show. A liberal should not even be permitted to inherit his great-granddaddy's musket, nor to step within 1,000 yards of an airsoft range.
Under the new law, liberals in Hollywood shall not be permitted to purchase or brandish prop guns in movies.
This may sound a bit harsh, but it's in the best interest of our republic and our homeland security, and ultimately -- it's for the children.
