Tuesday's HOT MIC

Tuesday's HOT MIC

Idaho: Paulette Jordan and Brad Little ahead.

Results are still coming in, but with about 22 percent of the polls reporting, Planned Parenthood- and Democracy for America-backed state Rep. Paulette Jordan, who would be the first female Native American governor in U.S. history, is in the lead on the Democratic side.

On the Republican side, Lt. Gov. Brad Little is beating businessman Tommy Ahlquist and Rep. Raul Labrador. Labrador is the doctrinaire conservative, so this is bad news, but reports are still coming in.

In any case, even if Jordan wins the primary, she's unlikely to win in November. Idaho is an R+34 state, after all.
