Tuesday's HOT MIC
More from Fox News:
The Jacksonville Jaguars have apologized to local military leaders for demonstrating during the national anthem in London last month.
Jaguars President Mark Lamping sent a letter to the director of military affairs and veterans in Jacksonville saying the team was ”remiss in not fully comprehending the effect of the national anthem demonstration on foreign soil has had on the men and women who have or continue to serve our country.”
The letter was forwarded to Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry on Monday and available via his public email.
The question is how that many high-salaried people in positions of great authority didn't comprehend how offensive it was to do this on foreign soil. This is an easy call for for a fourth-grader. The belated, tepid remorse being exhibited by some in the NFL is obviously being induced by the continued lousy ratings news that Michael mentioned earlier. All of it is so devoid of sincerity that it makes it easy to continue to not watch football, something I never believed I would think, write, or say.
