Monday's HOT MIC

Monday's HOT MIC

From the "you think your kid's school has problems" file, Breaking Belize News reports

The Patchakan Roman Catholic School in Corozal District has been closed for the last three days because of killer bees that have taken over the school compound.

A concerned parent told BBN that up to now, the school principal has not found someone to remove the bees from the school yard.

“I will greatly appreciate if BBN can post about this issue on their social media platforms,” the parent told us this morning.

On May 24th, 2017, a woman in the Cayo District was killed by killer bees at the Arms of Love Primary School which is located in the Kontiki area of San Ignacio Town.

The article ends with a plea for help: "If you know someone that can help remove the killer bees from the school compound, please call the school’s principal at 403-5029." Any takers? Killer bees notwithstanding, Belize is fabulous. The hubby and I usually go in October and have thus far been spared a killer bee attack.
