Live Blog

Here is your live blog for the day.

Christine Blasey Ford hired Debra Katz, a Washington lawyer known for her work on sexual harassment cases, and took a polygraph test administered by a former FBI agent back in early August, according to reports.

Ford passed the test, although many experts are downplaying the significance of the finding because "lie detector tests" don't actually detect lies, they just detect physiological reactions and can be very subjective and inaccurate. People can even take medications prior to the test called beta blockers to stop bodily reactions, an expert told the Washington Examiner.

So the test result shouldn't surprise anyone. What should raise eyebrows is the fact that she hired a lawyer and took the polygraph a month and a half ago.  Remember, the Democrat narrative has been that Ford wanted to remain anonymous -- she didn't want to go public until this week.

Senator Lindsey Graham asked a damn good question about this last night on Hannity:

As for "who paid for it"? Not making any accusations here, but --

If the Intelligence Community was blindsided by this, we need a new Intelligence Community. One that at least reads the newspapers.

The NYT has a very odd sense of humor.

Thanks, Rush Limbaugh!

Rush Limbaugh mentioned my story about the 200 women who vouched for Judge Brett Kavanaugh's character. He referenced it many times (here and here, for example), and linked to PJ Media here.

Here's a follow-up story about what two women who dated Kavanaugh and knew him in high school have to say about the man's character.

No, Bert and Ernie are NOT gay.

A gay writer claims he wrote Bert and Ernie as a gay couple. Sesame Street rejected this claim, saying the characters are friends. Not every relationship has to be sexual, good grief!
