Powerful new video against Doug Jones.
Yesterday, the Alabama state rep. who said about abortion, "kill them now or kill them later," claimed that Sen. Doug Jones (D-Ala.) privately agreed with him in a phone call.
Jones has denied that the call took place, but not everyone believes him...
The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released an ad tying Jones to the disgusting comments.
Fingers crossed that Grandma Nan jumps on this Stupid Train because it will almost guarantee Trump's re-election:
Things are so thoroughly insane over in the House majority that Pelosi has been the one voice of reason when it comes to impeachment. She was warning them away from it even before she got her gavel back. The people in the coastal media bubble echo chamber are loud, however, and it appears that they are wearing her down.
Let them do a lemming charge off of this cliff and see how that plays out for them. A Quinnipiac poll last week found that 66 percent of the voters don't want President Trump impeached.
The Democrats have been caterwauling about a "constitutional crisis" ever since Hillary Clinton headed for her box of chardonnay on election night in 2016. They really don't mind the occasional constitutional crisis, as long as they are the ones who get to usher it in.
Smart stuff from Cook's Amy Walter.
She concludes by saying, "This year, Ds look at the field and say ‘well, Biden would’ve won in 2016, he’s the least risky pick for 2020.” If/when he starts to look like a risky bet, his whole appeal and rationale fade."
So when you see stories like this one, showing Biden with a 32-point lead over Bernie Sanders, take it with a grain of salt. I'm not saying that Biden won't be the nominee, but I am saying that his early support is based almost solely on his perceived electability. Should anything act to change that perception -- a serious gaffe, more revelations about his shady dealings with China and Ukraine, etc -- then he'll quickly go from Inevitable to Please Clap.
It's true. You can't not.
That's different because shut up.

Take that, China! Steve Bannon is thrilled with President Trump's China policy. According to the former White House Chief Strategist, yesterday was "the most important day of Trump's presidency." An exaggeration? Perhaps, but the main point certainly stands: it was high time for the U.S. to get serious about this. China has been profiting from America for years and years. Now's the time to level the playing field. No more freebies for China.
It's on! Liberal Silicon Valley has apparently decided that the 2020 election campaign has started. As a result, both Twitter and Facebook are mass purging 'nationalist-populist' and conservative (pro-Trump) users. Even parody accounts are permanently suspended for not toeing the progressive line.
Good Tuesday morning.
Here is what's on the president's agenda today:
- The president attends the first lady’s Be Best anniversary celebration
- President Trump has lunch with the vice president
- The president participates in a meeting with Republican members of the Senate
Mueller, Mueller, Mueller
The media and the Democrats are obsessed, not with the contents of the Mueller report, but with all the adminstrativa surrounding the document.
The big issue is whether A.G. Barr will testify before the House Judiciary Committee. The chairman, Rep. "Fat Jerry" Nadler, wants to question Barr and bring in the committee's lawyers to join in on the fun. A highly irregular situation, Barr rejected this setup, so now the committee is agitating for a contempt citation.
The DoJ has also rejected Nadler's request for the entire, unredacted Mueller report. The entire Mueller report sans grand jury testimony is available for the Gang of Eight clowns to review. Barr is legally prohibited from releasing grand jury testimony, as they all know but pretend not to know to make it look like Bar is "hiding" the report. No Democrat has gone to view the report yet, so it's hard to take their complaints seriously. There is no good faith effort here.
“The Committee has not articulated any legitimate basis for requesting the law enforcement documents that bear upon more than two dozen criminal cases and investigations, including ongoing matters,” Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd wrote in the letter.
Worth considering. Should Journalists Go to Jail for Spreading Russia Lies?
