Live Blog: Obama Blamed Hillary, Not Russia
This parrot knows its rights better than most Americans do.
I'm old enough to remember when Dems had Meryl Streep testify before Congress because she once played a family farmer with financial troubles.
The story notes that noted groper Halperin has been getting "active help" in rehabilitating his TV career from "MSNBC Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski."
Do with that bit of knowledge what you will.
What, I agree with Margaret Atwood?
When will she come out against socialism?
California legislature finally does something that doesn't subvert the rights of its citizens:
Things are so awful in the Golden State these days that one has to celebrate even the smallest of victories. Non-Star Wars fans will have to wait for something else.
Here is a quick reminder of just how insane California lawmakers really are:
Germans refuse to reproduce in sufficient numbers, and won't defend their country from cultural invaders or foreign tyrants.
I wasn't kidding a while back when I told my older son that I didn't expect there to still be a Germany as we know it, sometime within his lifetime.
During an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, Hirono bragged about how “tough” she questioned Attorney General Bill Barr earlier in the afternoon during a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
But in the process of gloating and patting herself on the back, Hirono actually admitted the Democrats next plan of attack.
Hirono argued that Democrats will attack Trump nonstop until the 2020 presidential election — and beyond if he wins reelection — with hearings and proceedings.
When Blitzer asked if Democrats will try to impeach Barr, Hirono admitted that was their plan, too.
“I think that the house is going to have to go in that direction. I do think that the Mueller report is a lead up to impeachment proceedings,” Hirono said.
“These are not normal times. In normal times any president who did what he did, I think would be subject to impeachment,” she said.
“This is not normal times. This is why the house committees have to undergo the kind of investigation into the Trump organizations,” Hirono continued.
Cynical? Sure. But the drip-drip-drip of endless (albeit probably fruitless) investigations might just increase voter fatigue with Trump, which would benefit the Dems next year.
Well played, whoever runs the late Peter Mayhew's social media.
Your Friday morning pick-me-up.
More from the Daily Mail:
The eye-popping details are in the new edition of 'Obama: The Call Of History' by New York Times chief White House correspondent Peter Baker.
The book was originally released in July 2017 but has been updated with extensive new reporting throughout Obama's time in office - and the run through of election day is electrifying.
Obama was cordial to the president elect in their face-to-face meeting in the Oval Office, but in private Obama called Trump a conman straight out of Huckleberry Finn.
Obama even likened himself to Michael Corleone in the Godfather movies and said he was handing power over to somebody who would destroy his legacy.
Don't you just love a happy ending?
