Here we go again:
This latest anti-MAGA incident happened in a NYC bar last week:
Dion Cini, a Trump supporter, says he was drinking a beer and eating fish and chips at Jake’s Dilemma, located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, when a bartender decided to kick him out because of the red MAGA visor he was wearing.
The management of Jake's Dilemma addressed the incident in a Facebook post:
Our staff and management team include people from all walks of life and beliefs. There is no singular or any defining character of Jake’s Dilemma. With all this in mind, we do fully acknowledge that one of our employees took it upon himself to wrongly promote his political views. We can assure everyone that this employee has been disciplined and will be retrained before being allowed to serve at Jake’s Dilemma. We hope to see you at Jake's Dilemma next time you are in the neighborhood.
That's it? The employee will only be "disciplined and retrained" -- after throwing out a customer because he disagreed with his politics?!
This excellent response to Jake's Dilemma's post is from a Facebook user who claims to manage a one of the top 10 beach bars in the world:
I bartend and manage one of the top 10 beach bars in the world and have worked there for 30 years. We have one standing rule that states that every customer is treated with respect, regardless of sex , race , religious or political standing. If a patron was ever refused service because of a political hat , that employee who refused service would be terminated immediately .. no 'retraining" just fired. Prejudice at that level can not and does not deserve the chance to be retrained. Every year since 9-11 our bar sends a large group of employees to New York to support the City. As long as the bartender in question is still employed we will skip "Jake's Dilemma".
