Leave it to the L.A. Times to turn the Rep. Ilhan Omar's never-ending anti-Semitic clown show into a heartwarming feel-good story.
Awww, her supporters still love her -- anti-Semitism and all, you guys:
Interestingly enough, the L.A. Times story has nothing to say about the outpouring of support. It's about Omar's apology for her "widely condemned" anti-Semitic tweets.
Some very cynical people in the comments thread are calling BS.
My guess is that the Post-it Note operation was the work of a local left-wing group. But I'm not ruling out that Omar's interns did it.
The latest breaking news on the Jussie Smollett story:
Neighbors are calling BS, while more surveillance footage has been found — showing no attack. Meanwhile, Jussie still refuses to turn over his phone.
Second City Cop says that "the dog-and-pony show is continuing until such time as they can plausibly close the incident without any political fallout."
Sounds about right.
Egg on their faces.
Why did the AOC team think they could deny the document?
"Unwilling to work."
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) may try to deny the document calling for the abolition of cows and air travel and subsidizing people who are "unwilling to work," but her office really did push out that "frequently asked questions" document.
This is a wonderful response to it.
Omar's apology is not enough.
She should be removed from the Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) says.
But Robert Spencer has an all-too-easy prediction of what's really going to happen.
